UBC-last third of the journey!

Today is Day 61 of my Ultimate Body Challenge. I'm scolding myself today...I really should have been blogging my journey every day (or at least check-in days) for the past 60 days, but I didn't...so why not go ahead and start now?

Let's talk about how the program works. Say you've completed 30 days. You have options. You should always reevaluate where you are and where you want to be when you complete a cycle of your program. Once you determine where you are, you can re-start a 30 day program OR you can just keep on eating real food every day.  Since I decided to start a blogging journey for the next 30 days, I am choosing to re-start the program like it's day 1 so you, my dear reader, can get an idea of what our program is really like.

On this 30 day journey, I'm choosing to use a Transformation Kit.  This weight loss kit is our "Mercedes" version of our kits.  It includes the following products:

1)  Our appetite suppresant, XanoLean Supreme
2)  Our cleansing product, Reneu
3)  Our meal replacement shake, Body FX, in BOTH Tropical Creme and Chocolate Paradise
4)  Our fat and cellulite fighter, Trimbolic

For today and tomorrow, I will only be using the first 3 products. I won't add Trimbolic until Day 11 when I start eating brown carbs. I know you're dying to hear how my typical day goes...

45 minutes before each meal, take XanoLean Supreme with a full glass of water. The XanoLean is such an awesome product! It really does control my appetite. So well that sometimes I forget to eat! About an hour after breakfast and at bedtime, I take Reneú. I love how it flattens my tummy and makes me feel lighter.

For my meals today-
Breakfast-Chocolate Body FX shake and 1/2 an Empire apple.
Lunch-HUGE salad with my favorite veggies and some avocado slices plus another Chocolate Body FX shake and some sugar free jello.
Dinner-Pumpkin muffin made with pumpkin purée and Tropical Creme Body FX (recipe still a work in progress) plus my favorite salad again.
I have also had 3 snacks-baby bell peppers, some almonds, celery with freshly ground almonds (Whole Foods Almond Butter is nothing but almonds!) and some jello.
All that combined with my beverage of choice, water (warm lemon water first thing this morning really soothed my scratchy throat).

I. Am. Stuffed!!!

Weigh and measure day for me is Friday! See ya soon!

FFN Friendly Inspired by Pinterest

We've been pretty lazy around my house today. Dusty isn't feeling well and I've been so busy it was nice to just hang. So I trolled Pinterest looking for FFN Friendly recipes. What I found was quite a few that could be "tweaked" to fit in with the program.

My first foray into recipe alterations came from a pumpkin and chocolate chip cookie recipe. I LOVE pumpkin. I'm not brave enough to use the shake mixes to make cookies, so I decided on a shake. I was super excited to figure out how to make a shake using this cookie recipe. My creation turns out pretty good, even Dusty thought so.

Chocolate Pumpkin Shake

2 scoops of Chocolate Body FX
1/2 cup frozen pumpkin purée
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp brown sugar Stevia

Blend in blender. Enjoy!

After that, I started searching for FFN Friendly soups for my sickly husband. What better to open up the nasal passages, right? After some searching, I came across one to tweak. Here's the result-
Not being real sure about the FFN Friendliness of this soup, I texted my sponsor and coach Penny to ask her. She approved, provided you use low-fat, low sodium kielbasa. I would not suggest a WHOLE bowl of this. Limit yourself to 1 cup because there's really a lot of protein in here! Plus, thermic veggies included! FFN Score!!!!

I love eating good in my FFN 'hood! Won't you join me?

I am a FFF-First Fitness Fanatic

When I talk about how FFN has changed my life, I'm really not kidding. Even in the last 90 days, I've seen visible changes taking place without a lot of effort. Eating clean has become easy, thanks to the training of this program. The supplements help you get to the point where a true lifestyle change has been made.

I submitted my 90 day challenge photo today. And when I compared it to my before, during and after I was surprised at the changes I saw. Are they dramatic? Not really. But I believe they truly represent what a REAL person's journey with their body transformation would look like. We don't have hours on end to spend in the gym. We work. We have kids. We have families. We don't have the money. Or the nannies. We are real people looking for real results.

Now, I can't believe I'm about to do this. Times 2. But I'm going to share my UBC photos. They would never be public unless I chose to show them. So I'm making that choice. So...here I am in all my bikini clad glory. Am I perfect? No. But this is definitely a work in progress!

Now, keep in mind...this 90 days does not represent the 34 pounds I lost two years ago. To see that change, I would have to show you this-

Now I'm not perfect. I am well aware of that. But I am pretty darn proud of the weight I have lost. And the changes I can see. I'm still not where I want to be, but I certainly know where I want to go!

When you're ready to get started, I'm here to coach you to success!

Having the support of a spouse equals double success!

I've known Brian pretty much my whole life. We went to high school together and he hunted with Daddy. Brandy and I in college. As luck (or fate or divine intervention would have it), Brandy was at my apartment one day in 1995 when Brian came by to visit. When he left, she asked me about him and wanted me to fix them up. I didn't want to play match maker, but a couple of days later, Brian was calling me and asking the same thing! They were married in March of 1996.

In April of this year, Brandy and I started talking about our supplements and the program. She and Brian both had some allergy issues and she wanted to check it out first. She read every product profile, asked a whole lot of questions and then approached Brian with her idea of doing the program. To her surprise, he said yes!

They started their journey in May of 2013. Brandy wanted to lose about 10 pounds and was focused on helping Brian improve his health and lose some weight.  Brian has now lost 50 pounds and is at a place with his health where they are exploring new options to treat his High Blood Pressure, possibly being able to reduce his medication. Brandy has lost 27 pounds and her last cholesterol check-up showed a decrease in her levels. From a steady 250+ for 24 years to 139!  In August, they both turned 40 and are more healthy than they have been in years!

I am so thrilled two of my dearest friends have been able to find the weight loss and health benefits they have! Congrats on your success!

Have YOU pooped today?

Poop is one of the most wholesome, beautiful and natural experiences that money can buy.
Steve Martin

I've been seeing these "I pooped today" shirts all over the place.  Dusty and I laughed when we saw them in just about EVERY souvenir shop we went into while we were in Panama City Beach, Florida this summer.  Every time I see one, it makes me think of one of my favorite products, Reneu'. This is the ONE product I would never live without!

Okay...fair warning...it's about to get personal in here!  Let's talk about why I love Reneu' so much.  I've never been a regular, go-every-day kinda girl.  (See, I told you it was going to get personal!) I was lucky to go once a week.  And if I went twice, it was like I had hit the jackpot.  It didn't matter how much fiber I ate, I wasn't going to go.  So when I discovered my simple-to-do detox program and Reneu', I was a goner.  In love.  For the remainder of my life.  "Sorry honey, you've been replaced" kind of love, only I don't have to replace him!  I can have my Reneu' and my husband!  YAY!   But why do I love it so?  Because I GO to the bathroom like I'm supposed to!  And it's not hard to do!  I'm in and out faster than some people go #1!  How awesome is that?

Did you know that even if you have one bowel movement every day you are probably still constipated? The majority of Americans can go days. Days! A healthier number is 2-3 times per day. And it shouldn’t be uncomfortable. It should be as easy as urinating.

There is another way to gauge if you are constipated. It is called the Bristol Stool Chart.

Now I know this isn’t pleasant to look at, but it is important.

How to read the chart:
  • Types 1-3: You are constipated.
  • Types 4-5: Depending on who you talk to these are ideal.
  • Types 6-7: Too "urgent" to be normal.
The form your stool takes depends on how long it has been in the colon, with 72 hours being ideal. As you move down the chart you go from way too long in the colon (1-3), the normal ~72 hour time period (4-5) and finally under 72 hours (6-7).

I love hearing Dusty (who literally RAN from me when I tried to get him to try Reneu') describe to a new or potential client how great this product works.  I won't go into that much detail on my blog today, but if you're interested, I will certainly let him tell you all about it!

If you're interested in learning more about healthy elimination, check out What's a Healthy Bowel Movement?   You can find much more detail about each stool type and what it means here.

Thanks for sticking with me to the end!

And now...the moral--Avoid constipation...take your Reneu'!  You'll be glad you did!

50 pounds lost!

I am a Math teacher.  But today, I'm here to tell you about a program that rescued me from a life of misery, health issues and obesity.

In August, 2010 I began working at Bismarck. I was thrilled to find an old college friend on the staff because at least I knew someone there! Over the course of the year, Bryan repeatedly mentioned FirstFitness Nutrition to me. Always talking about his wife Penny's (another college friend) success losing weight on the products. Every time he walked off, I would think to myself "he's calling me fat"...well obviously I was! I would listen to what he said for about a year, but never really HEARD him.  Until I saw Penny in August of 2011.  That's when I began harassing my husband about getting the products.

When that photo was sent to me a couple of weeks ago, I was literally transported right back to THAT day.  I IMMEDIATELY knew what day that photo was taken and asked my friend Cheryl if it was taken the day of the BMS Back to School Bash (a dance for our middle school students).  I literally felt so many emotions over this photo...miserable and awkward...at the end of my rope. It was like I was re-living the exchange between me and Bryan all over again. So emotional to tell you about!!!

The photo on the left was taken August 23, 2011 at the Middle School's dance, the Back to School Bash. Prior to this being taken, I had walked into Bryan's office in the gym and handed him my credit card and told him to order me what I needed, to tell me how to use it and to NOT tell me what it cost. I knew my husband, Dusty, was going to KILL me! But I also knew I had a month before he would find out! LOL In that month, I lost 22 pounds. Dusty didn't kill me...but I'm sure he wanted to!

I have lost 50 pounds with this program.  I no longer suffer from symptoms of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrom) or Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I'm about to turn 40 years old and I look and feel better than I have in YEARS!  I would love to coach you to the same success I have had. It has truly been a blessing to me and my family and I would be honored to share it with you!
